Golf Performance Fitness Program
MAXIMIZE YOUR GAME
The Marko PT Golf Performance Fitness Program combines the latest evidence-based research standards for Physical Therapy and the industry-leading Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) approach to the body-swing connection™ to help improve your posture, swing and extend the life of your game.

Not only will you improve your swing, but you will also correct swing faults and reduce stress on your body. You can have longer shots and play pain-free by improving mobility, sequencing, motor function, and strengthening the muscles involved in the golf swing.
What Is Golf Fitness?
Play At Your Highest Level
Golf fitness isn’t about looking like a bodybuilder or being the best player on the PGA Tour. It’s about being fit to play the game at an individual’s highest level and doing so without causing injury. It’s about understanding how a body’s limitations can influence the golf swing and how to address those limitations properly. It’s about understanding how the latest technology can be implemented to increase performance.
Titleist Performance Institute
The Titleist Performance Institute is the world’s leading educational organization dedicated to the study of how the human body functions in relation to the golf swing. Titleist began a program in 1995 that documented the common features of the professional golf swing. They found that all golfers sequence their swing exactly the same across all skill levels, from backswing to follow through. Although styles differ, the sequencing remains constant.
The Body-Swing Connection
TM
TPI has spent almost two decades studying one thing – the Body-Swing Connection™. This is an evaluation method that measures all facets affecting performance, including strength, flexibility, neuromuscular control, joint mobility, balance, and power. What prevents the amateur golfer from playing like a pro is the breakdown of this sequence at some point during the swing. This is often caused by physical limitations that can be fixed with proper intervention. For instance, a spinal mobility limitation and weak abdominals will prevent golfers from keeping the correct posture all the way through their swing, resulting in inconsistent ball striking.
What Is TPI Certification?
You may have seen others with a TPI certification, such as golf pros or personal trainers.
Our TPI Golf Performance Program is unique, in that your Certified TPI Instructor is also a licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy with a Board-Certification in Orthopaedics.
This uniquely combined skill set and specialized knowledge base offer unparalleled insight into the physical limitations affecting the golf swing. The physical therapist’s experience working in orthopedics, combined with the TPI program, provides a comprehensive, golf-specific physical examination and a customized golf strength and flexibility program specific to your individual golf needs.
Your TPI Certified Physical Therapist has golf-specific injury assessment and rehabilitation
Techniques to get you back in the game. There are injuries associated with the golf swing that few understand better than a physical therapist. Your TPI Certified physical therapist looks at how these injuries develop, how to treat injuries, and how specific physical limitations can be addressed to improve performance.

This is all done through the TPI’s Body-Swing Connection™
