Struggling to Get Down on the Floor? Here’s What Your Body’s Trying to Tell You

Being able to get down to the floor to sit down and standing back up again is an important skill that one should think about maintaining as years progress.

If you feel like you can't get down or up off the floor, there could be a few factors at play here.

Of course, strength is one of the biggest factors. However, there are other ones such as the ability of your hip and knees to bend to have enough joint mobility to go through the necessary range of motion.

Another is having enough balance to steady yourself as you are lowering to or raising up from the floor.

Read more about which factors might be inhibiting you from getting down to or up from the floor in Dr. Marko's new guest feature in LiveStrong.
